This stand was very easy to assemble, and is the perfect height for our bedroom TV. It is sturdy and functional and looks great. I would have given it a 5 rating except for some minor issues. The color is shown and described as walnut, when it is actually closer to mahogany. It states it is solid wood, but the sides and bottom are actually not, but they do look like solid wood. Lastly, 2 of the preassembled pieces had the screws pulled out, and required me to replace with larger screws.  No Quality Assurance – Horrible,

This cabinet assembly was interesting to say the least. It’s supposed to be no tools assembly, that would be assuming they preassembled the parts correctly at the warehouse. When this arrived the preassembled back panel was screwed to the two side panels incorrectly, one of the latches was missing a screw meaning it could not hold any of the weight it was intennded for, the wood panels did not fit together as they were cut, and several pieces were chipped on arrival. Even after completely disassembling the preassembled parts and reassembling them the predrilled holes for the dowels did not line up and the top shelp sticks above the front panel for the doors. This exposes an ugly unfinished particle board side of the wood right at the front face of the cabinet. Frankly I am embarrased to even use this furniture at my business. This company needs a Quality Assurance department.

Unfortunately, i never was able to know if I would have liked the piece or not because it came broken. Luckily I didn’t wreck the box because I had to ship it back to receive credit and it was not light. Severely disappointed. |
